In love with neon pink!

GUESS was having an extra 40% off their already reduced sales items so I found this bright pink neon button up shirt for only $35 (reduced from $89) and here is one of the ways I chose to wear it!



I purchased a neon colorful striped skirt (will feature on a future post!) to match this shirt but there was way too much going on! So I decided that sticking with neutrals like black and white would be better.



Wearing white under the pink blouse would have looked much better than black - especially with the white skirt. Oh well! To accessorize I chose my Kate Spade New York crossbody ($325) purchased at http://www.katespade.com/ which matches with my heels. Another improvement to the outfit would be to button the shirt all the way to the very top for a preppy look and then have my hair tied up in a top-knot or messy bun. I chose to wear pearls again because they are so girly and pretty! I matched the pearl bracelets with pearl stud earrings.

I really like the idea of mixing neon and lace! I think it balances pretty and subtle with bold and eye-catching. I am hoping to find another cute lace skirt so I don't have to keep wearing this same one from Forever 21! I haven't seen many around - so if you find one, please let me know where!

 

For makeup I chose to wear my freshlook color lenses in "sterling gray". My eyes are naturally a brownish/hazel color so the gray makes them blueish. Note: this picture is not filtered in any way. I am wearing Ardell eyelash extensions in #102. They are dirt cheap at around $2 a pair from Longs and they last a couple of uses if you take care of them. My eyeliner is from Korea so I can't really tell you where to get it but I would like to say that GEL eyeliner is amazing!! I can never go back to pencil. You apply the gel with a tiny brush similar to how you use liquid eyeliner. It stays on all day without smudging and looks so thick and black, love it! Face makeup is the Bare Minerals foundation. I just bought it one week ago but I love it so far!

Steve Madden 'Dynamite' heels I purchased on http://www.stevemadden.com/ for about $89. I love Steve Madden as they always have up-to-date style at affordable prices and it's great quality too! These are hard to walk in at first but you get used to them and they seriously add some extra height! I love them because they go with almost anything! The black suede material is pretty and I love the gold buckle detail on the ankle strap.

Neon pink is so hot that me and my girl Nichole both wore it on the same day accidentally! Haha she's so cute!

Mint, lace, and neon combo!



I was looking for a pair of yellow heels for a long time! My search came to an end at Nine West. These heels in one of my favorite colors were only $59 on sale. They are comfortable because they have a thicker heel and there is a platform at the front. I always look for heels with a platform at the front as they are much easier to walk in!

Teeny bit obsessed with PEARLS right now. Three genuine freshwater pearl bracelets and the other is pink coral. I paired these pretty bracelets with a Kate Spade New York 'Grammercy' watch and Tory Burch handbag. On my nails is China Glaze 'For Audrey' polish that matches the color of my top. 

Peep toe shoes are perfect for showing off your pedicure!
